Sebastien Dignard named new president of iENSO

iENSO growing globally with imaging and wireless solutions

Toronto, ON (Oct. 15th, 2019) – Sebastien Dignard has been appointed president of iENSO, a leading provider of embedded imaging and wireless technologies for consumer and commercial applications.

Dignard, who brings with him over 18-years of senior experience in management and international business development, will lead iENSO’s global activities.

Former CEO at FRAMOS and recipient of the prestigious 40 under 40 award, Dignard’s extensive background in the imaging and wireless industry makes him a natural fit for iENSO as the international race for companies to innovate in embedded and AI-enabled imaging solutions heats up, says iENSO CEO Joe Bornbaum.

“iENSO has developed a significant amount of technology and IP around embedded imaging and wireless systems that companies are looking for,” says Bornbaum. “Sebastian’s expertise in securing new markets will provide leadership and guidance as iENSO moves to take advantage of tremendous growth. He is a welcome addition to our talented team.”

Dignard is respected for his ability to balance strategy development and execution. He combines innovation in business and technology to achieve large-scale growth in scale-up ready companies and was recognized in 2017 for having built FRAMOS, with close to 4000% growth, into one of Ottawa’s fastest growing companies.

Former EVP at the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, Dignard has held senior level positions at Xerox Services, Pleora Technologies and Lumenera Corporation.

Dignard joins iENSO as global companies are improving their core products with embedded and AI-enabled imaging. iENSO’s solutions are increasingly being integrated into consumer and commercial products including home automation, automotive, drones, professional entertainment, robotics, remote surveillance and security.

“Having partnered with iENSO in the past, I am very familiar with the team, technology and capabilities,” says Dignard.

“iENSO’s ‘customer first’ culture, combined with a focus on innovation, is in high demand as companies look to minimize risks as they integrate imaging and wireless capabilities,” Dignard says. “I am very excited about the future and look forward to working with global brands as they connect their devices to deliver more value to their customers.”
